So you're engaged! Congratulations! You know who you're marrying...but when?
Which month is perfect for your Colorado wedding?
May through October: peak wedding season (regular rates at most wedding venues)
November through April: off-peak (some wedding venues offer discounted rates)
January/February: COLD! Offer hot chocolate, hot toddys and coffee to keep your guests warm from the inside out. Bridesmaids can wear wintery-soft velvet and faux fur.
March: Although it may still be too cold for an outdoor reception, you can cozy up your brief outdoor ceremony with blankets (a sweet favor for guests to take home).
April: Say hello to spring with a wildflower bouquet and wedding shoes with ivory ribbons.
May/June: the true start of "wedding season"...so be sure to book your vendors far in advance!
July/August: Sunshine-y months are perfect for wedding dresses of airy chiffon or light lace. Keep your wedding cake cool until the last minute so it looks perfect for your photos.
September/October: the two most popular wedding months in Colorado! Wedding invitations may feature autumn sunset hues such as soft gold, terracotta and rose.
November and December: Off-peak pricing starts again at many wedding venues. You can embrace a winter-y theme without making it look too "holiday" by choosing your wedding colors with care.
Every month can be a perfect month for a Colorado wedding! Trust your certified wedding planner to make your day just what you've envisioned!
